One multicolor embroidered lehenga, one black embroidered lehenga, one violet embroidered lehenga, and a display to showcase his online insights. Mayur came and started his pitch with proper Gujju style and asked sharks to guess the price and the closest guess will win one free lehenga. Kunal Behl who is founder of Snapdeal guessed the closest number which was INR 3,000. While the actual price of that Lehenga was INR 3,799.
Later, Mayur started sharing his business story and how he managed all the things. Mayur asked 1 Crore for 2% of equity at INR 50 Lakh valuation at Bl Fabric. After analysing each aspect of his business, Kunal Behl and Ritesh Aggarwal, founder of OYO got interested in his vision and long term clarity. They offered INR 1 Crore for 5% equity along with a condition to reduce the equity bar at 4% if Mayur’s revenue hit 15 Crore. Mayur negotiated an equity amount at 3% but sharks refused and eventually, Mayur agreed to the deal.
